Thankful for a sweet, loving, funny husband who is always willing to do the best he can. I love you!<3

Being selfish

Bookmark and Share

Is it selfishness when somebody is upset because what he does for other people does not get him anything in return or is not appreciated?
for example, when I say I love a man, cook for him, do laundry for him, make gifts for him, help him in the house etc, and when he tells me that he needs more than just living a life day to day, I get upset because all I do everyday is working hard for us, and I don't feel appreciated, is that being selfish? when I give out of my own willingness, and expect to claim rewards is that a selfish heart?

i thought when you're willing to give, you're giving without expectation, right?

Quick thought

If we treat as equal as those who treat us well, then what makes it
different that we're by God's grace forgiven and saved?

If we only see those who act righteous in our eye, then we're still
blind, aren't we?
